21 Day National Lock Down Period due to COVID 19 - CIVILCONSULT Consulting Engineers Business As Usual

Good day fellow colleagues, business owners and valued clients,

President Cyril Ramaphosa has announced last night that a nationwide lockdown for 21 days will be implemented to try and limit / delay the spread of the Corona / COVID 19 virus and CIVILCONSULT would like to state the following:

1. CIVILCONSULT will embrace this challenge and with your support and help, we will emerge from this situation
2. By making use of technology, CIVILCONSULT will still be fully functional as we will be working remotely from our homes
3. CIVILCONSULT will also have skeleton staff at our offices where Leon Wentzel will be available
4. We will only be a phone call away – feel free to call us, even if it is to catch up and chat (21 days lockdown can become a long time)
5. Our emails will still be up and running, and we will gladly assist with anything that you might require from us
6. We will still be in a position to provide you with fee proposals, as we hope that this will make up for lost time on your project
7. Our drafting teams will be on standby, ensuring that you get your designs and drawings within the specified timeframes, causing no further delays on your project
8. Our engineers will be able to assist you with any technical query that you might have
9. This might be an ideal time to allow CIVILCONSULT to assist you with new projects which need to be constructed and requires designs, quantification and allow us to provide you with the most cost effective solution for your project
10. We will still be able to assist with Services Availability Reports, Services Reports, Outline Scheme Reports, Flood Line Determination Reports, but our external resources will be limited i.e. Local Authorities, Provincial Authorities and National Authorities. This will not prevent us from finalizing your project or report, and we will strive to provide the excellent service that you have become accustomed to
11. CIVILCONSULT would like to encourage you to provide us with appointments for quotations already provided, as we will be able to complete the bulk of the work, with minor adjustments to be made once the external resources are back in operation
